From Reykjavik, we will drive to one of the biggest lava caves in Iceland, Raufarhólshellir Lava Tunnel, where a local guide will tell you all about lava, volcanoes, how the lava tunnel was formed and the reasons for its spectacular colors and formations. You will admire the beauty of Icelandic nature as you walk along an easy path deep into the cave, where you will experience total darkness.

At the end of Lava Tunnel Tour, we will head to the Reykjanes Peninsula, home of the Reykjanes Geopark, a UNESCO site and one of Iceland’s geological gems.
We will visit the beautiful lakes Kleifarvatn and Graenavatn, the multi-colored hills of Krysuvik and the geothermal areas of Seltún and Gunnuhver with their hot springs, mud pools and much more.

After all the sightseeing, we will stop at the Blue Lagoon, one of Iceland’s most popular attractions. Here you will have time to walk around and take pictures or enjoy a coffee in the cafe overlooking the blue water of the lagoon. If you wish, you will have the option to take a bath in the Blue Lagoon, enjoy a drink in the pool or some silica mask over your body (Please note that tickets for the Blue Lagoon are NOT included in the price and must be purchased in advance. You can check availability on and book the entrance tickets yourself or select the extra).

We will then try our luck hunting the Northern Lights, weather permitting. As the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, we cannot guarantee they will be seen, this is just a bonus to all the other amazing thing you will see on this tour. If the weather is not good, we might have to skip the hunting and just drive you back to Reykjavik.
