Luxury, Comfort, and Expert Guidance
This exclusive experience combines high-end comfort, expert local guides, and unforgettable scenery—perfect for guests looking for a private Iceland tour or a small-group luxury adventure.
Explore Þjórsárdalur Valley
Your journey leads into the vast Þjórsárdalur Valley, a remote region shaped by volcanic eruptions and glacial rivers, where wide-open landscapes and rugged terrain define the scenery.
Discover Gjáin: Hidden Valley Oasis
Tucked within this dramatic setting, you will explore Gjáin, a hidden valley oasis where clear streams and small cascading waterfalls wind through lush, moss-covered lava formations—offering a peaceful and unexpected contrast to the surrounding highlands.
Step Back in Time at Stöng
Nearby, a visit to Stöng (the Commonwealth Farm) provides a glimpse into Iceland’s early history. This reconstructed Viking-era farmhouse, preserved beneath volcanic ash for centuries, adds a cultural layer to the experience while remaining deeply connected to the surrounding landscape.
Admire Hjálparfoss
Continuing through the valley, you will stop at Hjálparfoss, a beautifully formed twin waterfall framed by striking basalt columns.
Marvel at Háifoss & Granni
Reach the highlight of the day: Háifoss and Granni. These two neighboring waterfalls plunge into a vast canyon, creating one of the most impressive natural scenes in Iceland—powerful, dramatic, and remarkably serene due to its remote location.
